We all want to see the best in ourselves.

Because of this natural inclination, is it possible to be biased towards our own Natal Chart? Could we selectively (perhaps unintentionally) focus on the aspects of our chart that paint a positive picture of ourselves, and conveniently ignore those that might suggest less favorable traits? Let’s talk about it!

Your Natal Chart is set in stone from the second you are born. So, like looking in a mirror, it reflects YOU and who you are as a person.

However, unlike the subjective judgments you might make about yourself when looking in a mirror, the analysis of your Natal Chart offers an impartial perspective. This is because it’s unaffected by your personal preferences or desires.

In other words, your chart is what it is -- there’s no way to change or enhance it.

Here’s a truth to keep in mind.

While different astrologers may interpret your chart more positively - or even negatively if they are the fear mongering type - the truth is that every aspect of EVERY Natal Chart has both a high road and a low road.

Despite the diverse perspectives, every astrologer looking at your chart is examining the exact same configuration, they are just otherwise focusing on certain high roads or certain low roads. However, its important to recognize that the chart itself doesn’t change.

Here’s a practical example: say your **Moon is in Scorpio**. At the high road, you are loyal and protective of those you trust, have an incredible intuition, and an ability to get to know people on a deep level. At the low road, you may struggle with an all-or-nothing mentality and have a fear of betrayal.

You may feel one way or another about having this placement, but you can’t change it - it’s one (of the many!) parts of who you are and why you are the way that you are.

The wonderful thing about astrology is that you can use this information as a tool for navigating your emotions (since the Moon governs emotions), which will bring you clarity and understanding.
